DK Jain Appointed as Chairman Emeritus & Chief Mentor of Lumax
With over 50 years in operations and administrative roles, Jain was earlier the chairman of the Board.
Auto component maker Lumax Industries has made fresh appointments to its board. The automotive component listed company has announced the appointment of DK Jain as chairman emeritus and chief mentor to the Board, with effect from 1 April 2018. With over 50 years in operations and administrative roles, Jain was earlier the chairman of the Board. He will continue to guide and support the company to ensure continuous growth and expansion in future and will also pursue his philanthropic interests. A pioneer of the Indian Automotive Industry, Jain is an MBA from Delhi University and a Harvard Business School Alumni. Lumax Industries has also announced the elevation of Deepak Jain, managing director of the company, to the position of the chairman as well of the Board from 1 April 2018. The company has also announced the elevation of Vineet Sahni, as CEO & senior executive director of the company. Sahni was earlier the chief executive officer. Sahni has also been nominated as the key managerial personnel (KMP) of the company in place of Deepak Jain, managing director of the company. Sahni is a veteran in the automotive industry with over 30 years of varied leadership experience in the automotive industry. He is a BE Mechanical from Delhi College of Engineering and PG Diploma in Business Management.
