Washlow, who joined Orion’s Board in 2022, is an accomplished executive leader with over 25 years of experience driving business growth, operational excellence, and financial success. With a proven track record of leadership across multiple industries, she has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, operational transformation, and sales and marketing leadership.

Green has nearly thirty years of lighting industry experience. He joined Orion in 2013 with the acquisition of Harris Lighting where he served in senior leadership roles. As COO, Green will be primarily responsible for Orion’s sales and project management functions.

Washlow previously served as President of Nasdaq-traded Cobra Electronics and was named CEO following its transition to private equity ownership as Cedar Electronics, with total revenue over $200M.

Based in Hong Kong, Carl-Johan will closely collaborate with Astera’s German HQ, design center, and Chinese manufacturing teams, shaping future growth strategies.

Carl-Johan will establish ambitious goals for Astera’s future, leveraging extensive knowledge in long-term business development and strategy.

Carl-Johan served as an Astera consultant, well-acquainted with its strengths.

Carl-Johan highlights Astera’s product approach, which combines smart technology innovation with a people-centric focus in the live performance and production industries.

Carl-Johan’s primary objective is to strengthen Astera’s presence in Asian markets, assisting German R ‘n’ D and sales management teams. He will also look into sustainable manufacturing methods.

Carl-Johan aims to improve overall business practices, intelligence, and financial reporting systems for enhanced decision-making and increased organization-wide productivity, shaping Astera’s commercial goals for the next 5-8 years.

Commenting on Christian’s appointment, Tarang Jain, Managing Director and owner of Varroc Group, informed, “We selected Christian as a long-time manager with extensive industry experience to help us successfully grow Varroc Lighting Systems. In addition, to help us overcome the adverse period that the entire automotive industry is currently experiencing due to the global shortage of semiconductors and other manufacturing components. Tony’s regional scope includes the states located between Maine and Florida in the East up to Minnesota and Mississippi in Central USA. He was previously working at Williams AV. Commenting on his appointment, Francesco Ziliani, CEO, SpinetiX, said, “Tony has the experience and the track record to amplify our ambitious growth strategy in North America.”

Tony’s position will further reinforce the footprint that SpinetiX has in the USA, complementing an already strong team led by George Preston, VP Sales North America with the support of Dale Wait, Western Region Sales Manager.

Wijburg joined Infineon in 2018. As Managing Director of Infineon Dresden, he was responsible for the successful ramp-up of highly automated 300-millimeter production. After taking over as Head of Frontend in the beginning of 2021, Wijburg has focused on expanding wide bandgap capacities and was instrumental in establishing the concept of the 300-millimeter ‘One Virtual Fab’ cluster.
