Bridgelux, Inc., and Lumitech GmbH, the pioneer of tunable white by RGB (PI-LED) technology, have announced a comprehensive patent cross-licensing agreement focused on advanced tunable white solutions using RGBW and RGB-based architectures.
Under the agreement, the two companies license each other to certain respective patents covering tunable white lighting achieved through multi-channel color mixing and proprietary phosphor technologies. The partnership is based on Bridgelux’s leadership in LED lighting technology and Lumitech’s more than 15 years of expertise in white CCT tunable fixtures and PI-LED technologies.
