Daktronics of Brookings, South Dakota designed, manufactured, and installed 25 new LED displays at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. The new center-hung display system is the focal point of the project that totals 4,300 square feet of LED technology.

The new center-hung features four outward-curved main displays, each measuring nearly 15 feet high by 16.5 feet wide. An upper ring measures more than 3 feet high by 85 feet in circumference, and a lower ring measures more than 3 feet high by 72 feet in circumference. Four underbelly displays each measure, 12.5 feet high by 16.5 feet wide, and four corner wedge displays measure approximately 2.5 feet wide by 15 feet high. The main displays are capable of variable content zoning allowing each to show one large image or to be divided into multiple zones of live video, instant replays, up-to-the-minute statistics, graphics and animations, and sponsorship messages.

Additional LED displays include entrance displays, concourse wall, lobby display, and scorer’s tables. Daktronics also included its powerful Show Control solution with this installation.
