Exclusive Arabian luxury
Located in Dubai’s business bay, Damac Paramount is an imposing 268-meter building that dialogues with the skyline thanks to the four tapering structures that constitute it. Damac Paramount is built around a central plaza, where one of the four towers houses the hotel complex and a series of private residences; the remaining three comprise more than 1,200 luxury suites. In the common areas, opulence reigns in every detail to please guests and residents, catering to every need. Shopping, relaxation area with solarium and spa services: a contemporary lifestyle in a perfect combination of opulence and design.
Outdoor lighting in Dubai
For Damac Paramount, Linea Light Group was responsible for the exterior lighting. A customised approach was necessary, given the specificity of the client and the uniqueness of the project, to best describe the soft lines of the structure.
Two products are used in the lighting of this building. The first is Paseo, a linear profile in its custom declination called TL1. It has a polycarbonate core with an external aluminium body for wall installation with an optical aperture of 180 degrees, and is dressed in a customised profile made of a single piece to avoid any slipping between the parts. In addition to this, a white circuit system has been implemented to provide an optional addressable optical white every 300mm that can be applied across the entire façade.
The second, Rubber, LED strip positioned on the rooftop, also provides an RGBW solution. The special feature in this case was the customer’s search for a specific colour point to contrast with the Arabian sky: royal blue.
A DMX control system was applied to both products, from which address signals are managed to create light effects throughout the building.
