As of 1st September, Hedwig Maes will take over as CEO of Tridonic, the lighting technology company of the Zumtobel Group. In this function, he succeeds Guido van Tartwijk, who left the company at his own request at the end of last year. Hedwig Maes reports directly to Alfred Felder, CEO, Zumtobel Group.
With Hedwig Maes, a highly experienced Managing Director and Head of Sales is taking over this responsible position. After studying electrical engineering at Industriele Hogeschool Antwerpen-Mechelen (IHAM) and business administration at the UFSIA University in Antwerp, Maes, who was born in Belgium, gained 32 years of professional experience in the areas of electronics, industrial automation and industry systems with companies such as General Electric and ABB. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President of Global Systems & Solutions at Rockwell Automation for 10 years.
